Gourmet Goodies was established in 2010 when I began working as a sales person for an existing regional food distribution business, based in Angaston SA.My working life had predominantly been secretarial/office work, so jumping into sales was terrifying! But jump I did, and twelve months later I was given the opportunity to take over the business in its entirety and have been operating from our home in Lyndoch ever since.
In 2015 we acquired another long standing business, Blatchy’s Confectionery & Nuts, and perhaps that was the catalyst for my husband Rob to think about joining the business!
Rob has spent his whole working life in the transport industry and retired from his full time job in 2016 to join me in the business. Rob has become affectionately known as the “Senior Partner” (only because he is older than me!).
Last year I formed another business Convalita Gourmet with my friend and local food producer, Michelle Thomas, which you can read more about on this website.
Our aim is simple. We want to offer you a range of delicious locally grown and produced food and give you friendly and efficient service.
