Story Apricot

I am a bit concerned about my Story Apricot this year, always this tree is one of my harbingers of Spring, first come the jonquils, then the Story Apricot gradually opens its buds until it is as snowy and flashy as any bridezilla, then comes the almond tree and finally, the daffodils start to wake up, and I know Spring is on its way.
This year, the Story Apricot flowering was like a flash in the pan, there and then gone, usually it blooms early and for long enough for the Trevatt and Moorpark to open a few buds to ensure good cross pollination, but this year those trees are still fast asleep.
I know apricots are supposed to be self pollinating, but still……we can all use a little help sometimes. Keeping fingers crossed!
